Sea kayak expeditions · Polar guiding

Journeys shaped by the sea.

From the Mediterranean to Indonesia, Oman and the polar regions, I design and lead sea kayaking journeys that make room for exploration, learning and the unexpected.

My approach is grounded in practical experience, careful preparation and the needs of each group.

Places and people

Coasts, archipelagos and polar waters.

Coastal journeys

Explore islands, quiet bays and remote camps — from a sailing catamaran or on a self-supported sea kayaking expedition.

Polar kayaking

Guiding in the waters around Svalbard and Antarctica demands attention to weather, ice, wildlife and expedition procedures.

Expedition planning

Thoughtful route design, equipment choices, logistics and group preparation are just as important as time on the water.

Teaching and progression

Technical skills, confidence and decision-making develop step by step, with the activity adapted to each participant.

Voyage Kayak · Since 2011

Travel designed by a paddler.

I founded Voyage Kayak to organise small-group sea kayak journeys designed and guided by professionals who know the sport firsthand.

A rewarding expedition is not simply about arriving somewhere. It is also about the route, time spent with the group and being responsive to the environment.

Kayak Leader with Oceanwide Expeditions.

I work as a Kayak Leader on expedition voyages to Svalbard and Antarctica. These environments require sound judgement, detailed preparation and the ability to adjust plans to changing conditions.

My professional activities also include field testing of sea kayaking equipment. I have been part of the TRAK Kayaks Pro Team since 2013, contributing long-term experience and feedback to the development of the TRAK 2.0.

Professional qualifications

French State-qualified. Internationally experienced.

I hold the French Brevet d’État d’Éducateur Sportif (BEES), first degree, in canoeing and kayaking, together with an additional professional sea kayaking qualification. These are French State credentials rather than short-course certifications.

My complementary training includes PSE1 team first aid (2026), along with courses covering polar operating practices, environmental care and field procedures through AECO and IAATO.

I am registered with the International Sea Kayak Guide Alliance (ISKGA).
